2D CAD Design:

I have 10 years of solid architectural drafting and design experience as owner of RVisco Design in Salmon Arm BC. This includes single/multi/ commercial projects from conception to permit. As well as online contract drafting for companies in

Toronto, Texas and Alberta.

All 2d construction drawings for construction permits to build. Because of changes to the building code all construction drawings that I do will be approved and stamped by a local an Architectural Engineer.

A working set of plans includes a site plan from your city/town/municipal building department. All floor plans, elevations, applicable crossections, roof and floor truss engineered designs and all structural components.

All plans are done in AutoCad and printed on 36"x 24" sheets. A preliminary drawing is done free of charge showing a basic floor plan and elevation to scale with some dinensioning so that we make sure I have understood your needs. It can be

changed as many times as you need before progressing to working drawings. A price for working drawings is established at that stage.

3D CAD Design:

I started 3d design in AutoCAD when the RvRobotics project started 3 years ago. I work on it a minimum of 35 hrs a week designing and then 3dprinting all of the components for the RvR robot arm project.

This  involves basic 2d design evolved to 3d shapes that can be imported or exported in various file formats to machine code for cnc or 3d print.

3D Printing:

RvRobotics has 6 - Ender 3 220x220 Printers and 1 - AnyCubic Large 400x400 printer that are available to use.

STEM Learning:

STEM is a common abbreviation for four closely connected areas of study: science, technology, engineering and mathematics The fields are often associated due to the similarities that they share both in theory and practice.

This robot arm project falls under this category. Anyone needing help, a place to work, tools, machines and software to build their project from existing kits or from scratch are invited ,I can help with: Basic drafting techniques from paper on a board to CAD. A method of AutoCAD that uses the command prompt as apposed to the ribbon and a great setup to writing routines and programs that AutoCad can compile and run.
